Come Home Reverse Scholarship
Your hometown is where it all began! We have a unique scholarship opportunity that awards funding to graduates that move back to the Golden Belt area. This program, also known as a reverse scholarship, encourages students to return to the communities they grew up in. More information will be available soon through Golden Belt Community Foundation!
Scholarship Criteria:
Applicants must have received an undergraduate or graduate degree at either a four-year college or university, or a two-year community college degree, or received a certificate through a qualified and eligible skilled trades program within the last 7 years from the date of application.
Applicants must have outstanding student debt associated wit their degree or certificate education. Proof must be provided such as a copy of loan statement. Applicants may not already be residing within the area at the time of their application
Applicants must demonstrate a desire to move to the area, find or create employment, and make Barton, Pawnee, Rush or Stafford county their permanent and primary residence.
Applicants who are selected to receive a scholarship have up to 120 days to demonstrate a written job commitment from an employer somewhere within the county or be able to demonstrate their own entrepreneurial ability to create their own company and.or be successfully self-employed within the area.
