Welcome to our Community!

As a way to reach out to new residents of Pawnee County and welcome them to the community, the Larned Area Chamber of Commerce and Pawnee County Economic Development have created Welcome Bags to be given out to new residents. These bags are filled with community and business brochures and information to help our new residents settle into life in Pawnee County! The purpose of this program is to increase community engagement and retention by welcoming newcomers to the community through an informational Welcome Bag. Sometimes, newcomers don't know where to start or who to reach out to when joining a new community with the uncertainty of available resources. This program helps eliminate these uncertainties by going to new residents directly and letting them know there are resources available to them and that we, the community, are thrilled to have them move here. We ask that you help get the word out and let us know of any new residents, so that we may welcome them to Pawnee County.
