This fishing pond is open to the public daily with no admission fee. It is stocked regularly (and includes a wide variety of fish). There are also shaded picnic areas near the pond.

This 32.5 acre tract of grassland is located four miles west of Larned along the Pawnee River, where both the Native Americans and Cavalry soldiers of Fort Larned traveled. This tranquil location is an ideal campground with large open spaces, mature shade trees, and scenic beauty.
