The Pawnee County Humane Society is looking for a part-time Fundraising and Donor Development Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Shelter Manager and the PHCS Board of Directors and is primarily responsible for developing and coordinating fundraising events and opportunities within Larned and the Pawnee County community. This position will also require a qualified candidate to cultivate and increase donor relationships within and outside of our immediate community. The fundraising coordinator will be responsible for the following:
a. Maintaining records of memberships as well as seeking new members via various methods including, but not limited to, newsletters, social media, community outreach, and fundraising
b. Developing, organizing, and promoting fundraising and adoption events to increase our community presence and awareness as well as raising much needed funds for animal care and operating costs of PCHS
c. Maintaining excellent communications with donors, potential donors, and the community as a whole through various methods and mediums including, but not limited to, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), email, physical newsletters, flyers, and community events.
d. Increasing PCHS’s community presence with more fundraising events, adoption meet and greets, and by attending other local events as a PHCS representative
This position will start with 16 hours a week, with work-from-home as an option. Starting pay is $10.00 an hour.
